The LION optical fiber submarine network, operated by a consortium including France Telecom, Orange Madagascar and Mauritius Telecom, provides Madagascar with a high-speed internet connection, strenghtens the securisation of international connectivity for la Réunion and Mauritius and contribute to the economic, social and cultural developpement of the islands in the Indian Ocean.
